And when it comes to customer loyalty programs in retail, there’s no better deal than free food for students. “I’ve heard a lot about TGI Fridays… but if they advertised more towards students I’d be more likely to go”, says Miriam. “[For a deal], maybe if we went four times and the fifth time was discounted?”. 

So, Gen Zers want to be loyal - they just want a little treat too.

3. Offer personalized discounts 

Gen Z loves personlization, and there’s no better way to increase sales in store than with exclusive discounts.

4. Create seasonal discounts to increase urgency
