Requirements

As a result of our steady growth plans, we are looking for a passionate and experienced UX Researcher to join our team. You will be working closely with the Senior User Researcher and the Head of Product Design, and you will be a key player in how our products are improved by understanding the voice of our students and brands (and other consumer groups when ready). You will work on both the client-facing side and the consumer side, meaning the breadth of work will be varied, challenging and fulfilling!

Key Responsibilities

On a day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Helping all of our B2C squads squads with reactive research needs. These may include:

• Setting up unmoderated tests
• Writing scripts for interviews
• Planning appropriate product research
• Advising colleagues on when and when not to test
• Analysing the results
• Suggesting next steps
• Running larger, more specialised tests, i,.e. diary studies

• Helping our Senior UX Researcher collate data for the monthly Pion Insights Assembly
• Managing the monthly CRM survey
• Recruit for (and sometimes run) the monthly student forum
• Recruit for and help facilitate the monthly in-person student mornings
• Share results across squads to ensure high visibility of insights utilising tools such as Figma, Slack, Google Slides
• Advocating for the user voice across the business
• Supporting initiatives to improve research practices such as research ops and insight documentation

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

• 2+ years of industry experience as a UX Researcher
• Provable experience running user research for products and designs using different methodologies and platforms
• Experience with unmoderated and moderated testing
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience working in a fast-moving environment
• Are determined and passionate about building from a foundation of user needs
• Passion for staying up-to-date with research trends and best practice
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• A proactive attitude. Be transparent with your updates, wins, losses, thoughts and ideas.
